The bank in Ole Muddy is robbed when the sheriff is away. A local posse is unable to track down the robbers. Fortunately, Beau had observed the outlaws galloping rapidly past the Lazy Arrow Ranch. He calls Celly, and they scale a cliff to watch as the bad men flee to their hideout. When Sheriff Longslim and Deputy Squatty return, Celly and Beau lead them to the outlaws' retreat and actively participate in the apprehension. They also get an unexpected treat.
